The Taurus 3 cuts in all directions. It also grinds as it cuts, as do all glass saws. Cuts underwater to reduce glass dust and to prevent the glass from heating too much during cutting. Includes a standard blade but, if you like, you can add extra or different blades during checkout. Instruction book provided; 3-year warranty from the manufacturer.

    The grinder of choice for art glass professionals, the All-Star is the only grinder that provides a built-in water pump and mini table that affords a surface to grind even very small pieces of glass with its 1/4" grinding head. The work surface is 20% larger than any other grinder's. Its motor produces 67% more torque than any other grinder, too, since it's rated at 1/9 HP, 3560 RPM. Smoother, quieter operation is a result of its permanent split capacitor motor design and the glass eye shield is more scratch-resistant than the plastic lenses on other grinders; it measures 8"x 9".
